“I am the Good Shepherd; I know my own and my own know me”. John 10:14"
On our visit to Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery, we enjoyed an inspiring and educational morning exploring the historic house and its fascinating exhibitions. The children learned about the history of the manor, studied a range of artworks, and took part in engaging activities that encouraged observation, discussion, and creativity.
We focused on lines, brush strokes, asymmetrical shapes, and nature-inspired patterns, linking directly to our art learning this term. The visit also gave us a fascinating insight into Ancient Greece, providing an exciting introduction to our history topic for next term.
The visit provided a wonderful opportunity to deepen our understanding of art and local history in a beautiful setting, and everyone left having learned something new. It was a memorable experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.
