Arts Week

Arts Week at The Good Shepherd was a vibrant celebration of creativity and expression, showcasing our commitment to embracing the arts in diverse and exciting ways. Here are some of the highlights:

  • EYFS Artwork: Our youngest pupils created beautiful pieces of art inspired by their focus artist, demonstrating their budding creativity and artistic skills.

  • Music Concert: We enjoyed a fantastic music concert, where pupils showcased their musical talents.

  • Kite Studios Workshops: Special workshops were delivered by Kite Studios for Years 1 and 3, offering hands-on artistic experiences.

  • LAMDA Assembly: A special assembly focused on oracy and performance was held by LAMDA, enhancing pupils' communication and presentation skills.

  • Year 4 National Gallery Visit: Year 4 pupils visited the National Gallery to admire the works of Caravaggio and other renowned artists.

  • Year 5 and 6 Opera Recital: Pupils from Years 5 and 6 took a trip to Holland Park to enjoy "Song on the Steps," an enchanting outdoor opera recital.
