Well done to our boys’ football team who competed in the Mayor’s Cup this year. The boys played extremely well over the course of the year.
The semi-final was an intense game where after the full time whistle the score line was still 0-0. After, three minutes of extra time and neither team scoring, we went to penalties and unfortunately missed out.
Well done boys, we are so proud of you!
Well done to the school’s football and cricket team who represented the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham at the West London School Games Finals at Brunel University.
Well done to the girls’ cricket team who competed at the Hammersmith and Fulham Kwik Cricket competition.
Well done to our boys’ cricket team we are the Hammersmith and Fulham cricket champions.
Following a successful group stage, the boys’ faced John Betts in a very close semi-final. With two bowls left, and 1 point between both teams, the Good Shepherd managed to knock 5 points off of John Betts, resulting in them winning the semi-final.
The final, likewise, was a tough and close match against St. Stephan’s, the defending champions. The Good Shepherd put up a good battle, with a very tight score line again.

Well done to the boys' football team who beat John Betts 1-0 in the Mayor's Cup quarter-final. Well done to Finn Kincaid in goal. Despite carrying a chest injury, he saved a penalty in the second half, it was an incredible performance by all players.
Well done to the Year 5 and 6 basketball team who represented the school at the Hammersmith and Fulham Borough tournament. They played exceptionally well as a team, coming in third place in the entire competition!
Well done to the Year 3 skittleball team who represented the school at the Hammersmith and Fulham Borough tournament. They played exceptionally well as a team and won a total 6 out of 7 games, finishing 2nd in their group.
Well done to our Year 4 football team who competed at a 5-a-side tournament. The girls played really well as a team and made it all the way to the quarter finals!
Well done to our year 4 skittleball team who won 5 out of 6 games at the Hammersmith and Fulham skittleball tournament. Pupils have been developing their hand skills in PE this term so it was a great opportunity for them to display everything that they have learnt. Well done to all of the year 4 boys and girls involved.
Our year 5 and 6 netball team competed at the Hammersmith and Fulham Primary School High Five Netball Tournament. The Good Shepherd boys and girls won all of their group matches which put the top of their pool and straight into the semi-final. The boys and girls played amazingly well throughout the tournament and won their semi-final. The final was a very close game and we narrowly missed out on the trophy by a score of 2-0. Well done to all of the children involved, you did yourselves and the school proud.
Pupils from Nursery through to Year 6 took part in the A-life Healthy workshop. They had a hands-on experience, allowing all to delve in and explore for themselves, the various activities based on healthy lifestyles. Pupils engaged in variety of different activities set up around the hall in stations. All pupils worked in mixed year groups together to explore various scenarios and topics linking to PSHRE, PE and Science.
Well done to year 3 who competed at the Sports hall Athletics tournament at Sacred Heart High School. They showed great teamwork and sportsmanship. Year 3 have been developing their sports hall athletics skills over the course of 6 weeks. They did extremely well.
Our Key Stage 2 pupils took part in a multi-skills sports tournament. The boys and girls participated in multiple sports. The Good Shepherd RC Primary School won the event for the first time. We are extremely proud of all pupils who participated. Well done to Year 5's Emilia Kalicka who received a School Sportsmanship award after the event.
Year 5 and 6 pupils competed at a Dodgeball tournament at Hammersmith Academy. The pupils used their skills from their PE lesson and applied them in a competitive environment.
