Teacher–Children Swap Day!
What an unforgettable Teacher–Children Swap Day! Our Year 5 teacher has just “quit” her job! Luckily, we have three new "teachers" for the day and confidently led a geography lesson all about Mount Kilimanjaro!
The class began by exploring key vocabulary and learning new facts, before answering questions in their geography journals. We then took their learning even further with a Step for Depth activity to deepen our understanding.
To finish the lesson, our new teachers organised an exciting game to check everyone’s learning, and even awarded prizes to the winners! Our classroom was full of laughter, teamwork, and enthusiasm. It was a fantastic day of learning, leadership, and fun for everyone involved.
