In this Science lesson, we learned about the functions of our blood and blood vessels.
We used different items of food to represent the different components of our blood.
The water (which was pale yellow in colour) represented the plasma.
The Cheerios and red dye represented our red blood cells.
The oats represented platelets.
The marshmallows (yum!) represented our white blood cells.
We had great fun in this lesson.
We've had a busy first full day here at PGL. The list of activities include Giant Swing, Zip Wire, Problem Solving, Ball Sports, Sensory Trail, etc. Tonight we are taking part in Ambush.....we're excited even though we have no idea what this involves.
We are missing you a tiny bit, but having lots and lots of fun....we're not ready to come home just yet!!
During this term, the children will be exploring the many ways in which inspirational people have used their faith and beliefs to help people. In turn, we will consider ways in which we can use these shining examples to help us become inspirational people ourselves.
